Daniela Boccassini teaches in the areas of Italian and Romance Studies. Her research interests focus on the Medieval and Renaissance periods, particularly on the exploration of the ways in which the act of writing preserves the memory of complex cultural processes, involving various disciplines, different cultural traditions and multiple epistemological transitions. She is co-editor of the journal Quaderni di Studi Indo-mediterranei and curator of its North-American website.
