Claude Nougaro was born the 9th of September of 1929 in Toulouse from a father baritone at the Paris Opera and a mother pianist led to a concert performer career. He will be bred by his paternal grandparents... these are promising beginnings seen from a mythanalyse point of view, created by the French psychoanalyst Pierre Solié. Absolute innovative, creator of style, poet with hitting rime, man of jazz, Claude Nougaro is one of the masters of the French songs. He was able, thanks to a cleverly mixing and an outstanding personality, to create links between musical langue d'oc tradition and Black American.
The materia prima of his work is his own life, stormy and rich. Alain Wodrascka, his biographer, says: "he takes the colors of his poetry from the ink of his blood".
In his music, we find the desire of fraternity built as a process of integration of primitive violence of which Solié talks about in his texts and which is close to the idea of the "caritas". An essential process to tend to universal love and get out of relation dominant/dominated. All his life long Claude Nougaro will fight the dissociation between the apollinian, side, pure, enemy of excessiveness and its Dionysian other part, impure and savage.
Through the existential parable of this fiery and complex artist, Michel Bucchioni shows us how the individuation course of Claude Nougaro corresponds precisely to what the psychoanalyst Pierre Solié defines as the "loving son" opposed to the "dipian son» taking the path of the onto-psycho genesis created by this psychoanalyst. In what does consist this course ? Does it allow us to get free from the Freudian monotheist patriarchal point of view ? And how does it show in Claude Nougaro's course of life ?
