According to Stéphan Lupasco, three ethics (three dynamics of life according to Jean-François Malherbe) are characteristics of Human: (1) an homogeneous ethic characteristic of the physics matter (2) an heterogeneous ethic that characterizes the biologic matter (3) a contradictory dynamic resulting from the antagonistic tension between homogeneous and heterogeneous which is the characteristic the mental matter. Every human action is in line with one of these three ethics.
In this twenty minutes presentation Jean-François Malherbe shows a history of ethic of tiers inclus and its cousin tiers exclus, talking about the works of Maitre Eckart, Spinoza, Ludwig Wittgenstein and coming back on the " fight of the millennium" that opposes Parmenides to Heraclitus.
It appears that " the idea of Lupasco shows the subjection of western tradition to the dualism, not the dualism of the thought (Cartesian way) and the matter but the dualism of knowledge and action, of pure reason and practical reason. Does the dynamic of the Tiers inclus irrigate these areas with its essential enliving sap? "...
This conference was shot at the UNESCO during the seminar "At the junction of two cultures: Lupasco today" and organized by Basarab Nicolescu (CIRET), in 2010.
