The Faust (I) of Goethe asserted he wanted to discover « Was die Welt im Innersten zusammenhält » (what maintains the universe in its intimate cohesion)... That was the ambition of Raymond Abellio (1907-1986) which started with the name Georges Soulès: graduate of the "École Polytechnique" and politician. Then in 1943, discovering the works of René Guénon, and movements linked to Primordial Tradition, he abandoned politics, changes his name for Raymond Abellio and dedicated himself to metaphysics. Between 1943 and 1986, he wrote about twenty novels or essays.

 When we talk about eschatology (eschatos=last + Logos= verb), it is the word of end that comes: the end of times; the time of the end or the end of the world. Actually, the eschaton, in Greek doesn't mean the end as a goal, but as an aim. Eschaton means the limit, the frontier, the threshold, or the junction point which is taken by which the passage time is possible: a breaking in continuity for the renewal of History. Also following this distinction, Serge Margel opens two hypothesis which cross each other, formulating the axis of a new lecture of the vision of a martyr.

 What could be gnosis and what is its definition? Many historians talked about this question trying to distinguish gnosis of revealed religions - if there are many - and gnosis called pagans. Behind gnosis there is the problem of God knowledge, and Jean-Pierre Bonnerot raises in this 30-minutes interview many questions: (1) How to know God, and what state do we have to reach to "be born with" divine? (2) For what reasons did Latin Christianism, from the 2th century with Iréné de Lyon, considered Gnosis as heretic while Saint-Paul wrote just before him: "there is a superior knowledge to human wisdom towards which men have to aim at". What would be that supra-human wisdom?

 The Gnosis of André Savoret André Savoret, (1898-1977), was first a druid and then an alchemist, and a mystic Christian. Known for the books he constantly re-edited, like “Faces of Druidism” and more recently “From the Menhir to the Cross”, he is considered above all an exegete of Gnosis.
