Jean-Jacques Gabut

Jean-Jacques GabutJournalist and ex-editor of “Lyon Matin”, Jean-Jacques Gabut is now retired. He divides his time between humanitarian work, writing and conferences. Very involved in Freemasonry, he holds various higher grades of both the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. He is additionally an Honorary Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of France.

He is the author of "Lyon magique et sacré. Histoires et mystères d'une ville"(Magic and Sacred Lyon: the Histories and Mysteries of the City), "Eglise, religions et franc-maçonnerie" (Church, Religion and Freemasonry) "La Magie traditionnelle" (Traditional Magic), "L'âge d'or de la BD. Les journaux illustrés 1934-1944" (The Golden Age of the Comic Strip. Illustrated journals 1934-1944) as well as "Les Symboles de la franc-maçonnerie. Signes, mots, couleurs et nombres” (The Symbols of Freemasonry: its Signs, Language, Colours and Numbers) published by Dervy.
