Ervin László (born in 1932 in Budapest, Hungary) is a Hungarian philosopher in sciences, theorist of the systems, and theorist of the everything. He published about 75 books and more than 400 articles, and is the editor of World Futures: The Journal of General Evolution.
In 1993, in response to his experience with the Club de Rome, he founded le Club de Budapest to, according to him, "draw the attention on the evolution of human values and conscious as crucial factors in the change of race going towards deterioration, polarization and the disaster towards a remelting of values and priorities to adjust the transformations of today towards humanism, ethics and a whole durability."
