Martinès de Pasqually, the unknown theurgist

Occultism > Theurgy
By : Serge Caillet -  Friday, 16 November 2007 01:00
Martines de Pasqually, le théurge inconnu "Who is Martinès de Pasqually (1727-1774) ?", that is the question André Breton asked. Thaumaturgist, theosophist and magus with an uncertain origin, he is said to be the founder of the Order of The Knights Elus Cohens in 1761. Master  of Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin and Jean-Baptiste Willermoz, he still is the inspirer of an esotericist martinist movement.

Searching for almost 20 years, Serge Caillet, who is preparing a biography of the "unknown theurgist", gave us few elements during a conference at the bookshop l'Etoile du Mag, in Marseille.
