Meaning "the worker of the earth", he is linked to dragon, ground energies, to Sun celebration rites, to light and spring. To Paul Broadhurst, he symbolizes inborn intelligent which dwells in nature, the power of the Sun and light. Besides, Saint Georges doesn't kill the dragon, he just masters it and tame it. He tames ground energies present during ancestral and sacred initiatory rites.
The ancient used to know these energies. Multiple civilization of Neolithic era in the Middle Ages built their sanctuaries following them. Man, between sky and earth, wanted to harmonize these energies to perfect the balance of the wolrd.
