Willermoz and the Scottish Rectified Rite Jean-Baptiste Willermoz (1730-1824) was a French Freemason who, during his lifetime, notably played an important role in putting together the system of higher Masonic grades in France and Germany. This founder of the Scottish Rectified Rite (RER) is discussed by Yves-Fred Boisset, director of “Initiation” Review - originally founded by Papus.
