Some researchers just give their point of view. René Lachaud prefers demonstration. According to him, the origins of alchemy are in Egypt and thanks to his huge erudition (and a huge sense of humor) he is going to demonstrate that his affirmation is true. In a simple and direct speech, he is going to depict the symbolical sphere of pharaonic Egypt... and its operative magic.
That is why, his researches go beyond and complete a certain (rational) nervousness from some university teachers and which limit the research of many egyptologists.
Indeed, how to pretend to understand Egypt, its big and small mysteries, if one doesn't know the spirit of nature (Shamanism) and hermeticism ?
Heliopolis was a holy city built in the Nil delta in about 4500 years B.C. by the founding race of ancient Egypt: the Shem-sou Hor [those who follow Horus]. This people wasn't constituted by warriors nor priests nor kings, they were goldsmiths and blacksmiths, and (according to a legend) last survivors of a swallowed continent in the Indian Ocean.

It is to these men, who were masters in metal arts, that we owe one of the oldest text of humanity: "Pyramid Texts".
Heliopolis (Onou) means "pillar"... but what pillar is it ? Is it the (probable) meteorite which fell in Denderah, that will be transported and which will become Benben, a stone on which the Phoenix (Benou) will land, burn and come to life again to announce a new cycle ?
How to explain that after that, under Khufu, then Amenhotep II and Amenhotep III hundreds of tons of gold were used to decorate the temenos whereas Egypt geology lacks gold ?
Where does this gold come from ? Did the Shem-sou Hor possess the making secret : transmutation ?
What knowledge did some personalities from civil societies of that time such as the scribe "Amenhotep son of Hapou" acquired to gain notoriety and to assure wealth to his sovereign ?
Is the etymological connection of Kemia (chemistry) and Kemet (pre-Hellenist name of Egypt which means "Black silt") a coincidence ?...
Answer by René Lachaud in this 58-minutes lecture, filmed in Toulon in May 2011 within the frame of the debate "Fulcanelli, alchimie d’Héliopolis » organized by the Librairie la Table d’hermès and les Editions de la Pierre Philosophale.
