The twelve keys of Philosophy by Basile Valentin  appear in 1600 in Germany.   The book receive an illustration in 1618. The legend says the author is a Benedictine monk of the 16th century and his work was found in a hollow stone of the Erfurt abbey, hidden for two centuries... Truth is less poetic, since it is probable that the editor and alchemist Johann Thölde is the true author, and he tried a media-staged event...

The French word "experience", contains in German two meanings and two translations: with on one hand the notion of "Erfahrung" which involves the presence of a teaching and provokes "experimentation". On the other hand the word "Erlebnis" which evokes the experience, an inner experience, without  a practical or tangible application. End of the 18th century, men and women searching for invisibility, that is to say those who don't just "believe" but want to "experience God",

When Simone de Beauvoir asserted "One is not born a woman, but becomes one" didn't she paraphrased, in others circumstances, the Hebraic letter Qof (the needle cat", or "the narrow tunnel from where no return is possible") which recalls that "one doesn't become a man, but becomes one" ? A difficult renunciation to the superficiality temptation, to eventualities of each time which suggests to embrace, with its bunch of short satisfactions but with this tragic and poisoning feeling "that one doesn't live for nothing"...

Esotericism currently suffers a tarnished image and this mishmash word has almost become pejorative. On one hand he has to face dogmas from established churches, on the other hand he has to tries to fertilize the cast-iron secular and horizontal screed, which shaped our academies, and besides, he has to float over the giant, parodic and consumerist tidal wave (pleonasm made on purpose), called "personal development" which corrupted our bookshops and the internet.

The intervention of Philippe Buchelot follows the revelation given by the Portuguese researcher Walter Grosse. Since he couldn't be here, he sent an email which is read as an introduction to Philippe Buchelot's lecture.  He talks about the elements discovered by Walter Grosse and adds his presentation of documents which were given to him by his initiator in Alchemy, a certain Filostène. In accordance with the alchemical Tradition, two persons are involved in the book which shows the exhibit: Fulcanelli exhumed, published by la Pierre Philosophale in 2011.

Mem, Nun, Samech evoke three feminine elements. Both motherly and reassuring (Mem) and worrying (Nun, just like the Lilith, Melusine and other Serpent...) the letters of the Hebrew alphabet is in the succession of openings and closings. To Franck Lalou who defines himself as an "admirer of letters", the Hebraic thought is comparable to an individuation way. We may be a believer or an atheist: we are waiting for everything that will get us out of the system in which we close ourselves. To him, the study of the symbolism of the Hebrew alphabet is one of the ways to the genuine Self... (or at least an understanding of the "Other's face").
