The Age of Aquarius is an astrology concept that entered the language but few people know that it's the Frenchman Paul le Cour (1871-1954) who was the first to reveal it in 1937. Indeed, to Paul le Cour, the Age of Aries begun in 2160 BC. J-C., it is followed by the Age of Pisces with the birth of Christ, while the Age of Aquarius would begin in 2160. According to astronomic calculations of Le Cour, the great periods of our history would be determined by the alignment of the Sun with one of the constellation of zodiac
at the beginning of astronomic spring (Vernal point). The relative motion of the Sun towards constellations allows to talk about "ages" of Aries, Pisces etc., each "age" lasts about 2160 years.
Still according to le Cour, we would be about to leave the Age of Pisces, period influenced by religion and war, to enter in the Age of Aquarius, which will be, according his forecasts, a time of new found harmony.
