In this 42-minute talk, Jean-Luc Leguay evokes the osmosis between word and light and how it manifests in manuscript illumination. Previously a choreographer, the author retraces his personal path for us and looks at the reasons that led him to endure a 10-year initiation by a Franciscan hermit monk into the practise of this pictorial art.
Once a director of bodies, today he wishes only to direct attention to our “creative imagination”. An interview filmed at the ‘Auberge Nicolas Flamel’ (restaurant) in Paris.
